Whether it’s your very first swing dance or you’ve been dancing for years, Swingin’ at the Sons is one of the most welcoming dance communities in Dallas. Every Wednesday night, our historic upstairs ballroom comes alive with beginner-friendly lessons, social dancing, and an incredible mix of classic swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, and upbeat jazz favorites.
New to swing dancing? You’re in the right place. Our lesson is designed specifically to help first-timers feel comfortable, confident, and on the dance floor fast. No partner and no experience needed. Come solo, bring a date, or gather friends for a unique night out at this historic venue.
After the lesson, stay for open dancing where beginners and experienced dancers mix together in a fun, encouraging atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to learn, meet new people, and fall in love with swing dancing.
